Our Awesome God

Our God is an awesome God, and as the old song goes, “He Reigns from Heaven above”.
Our nation was so blessed when we made God our Lord. However, we have been so blessed by God; that we have become like the Laodicean Church, and we “think” that we are rich, holy and that we can see. However, Jesus tells us in Rev. 3 that we are poor, unclean and blind.
Many Christians have a lukewarm attitude toward Jesus Christ and God almighty, and they are about to be spewed out of God’s mouth according to Rev. 3:14-16.
Actually, we are in a very miserable condition spiritually, but many do not seem to know it. We seem to be blinded by the god of this world and the anti-Christ system with all its lies, deceptions and delusions of grandeur.
Satan can only lie, cheat, steal and bully people in order to achieve his evil agenda. He has already been defeated on the cross of Jesus Christ.
Psalms 2, asks , “Why do the heathen rage and imagine a vain thing?  The kings and leaders are attempting to defeat our awesome God and His anointed, and it says that God laughs at their futile efforts.
It tells us what almighty God answers to these vain perpetrators.

Ps. 2:5 “Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set My King upon My holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto Me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee.
8 Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.”
Our God admonishes that He will send His Son and give Him the heathen for His inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for His possession. He tells these rebellious people to serve the Lord with fear, rejoicing and trembling, which is awesome reverence.
We have all of our lifetimes to choose “Who or What” we will serve. Our awesome, living God is evident in His creation; not to mention His people, His Word and His Life is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent.
God is going to bring refreshing and restitution before He returns to all of those who will repent. He is going to raise up the prophets that will speak “His” Word according to:
Acts 3:19-21, King James Version (KJV) 19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.|
WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE WHO HAS GIVEN US EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED FOR AN ABUNDANT LIFE, GODLINESS, AND TOTAL VICTORY!
MY TESTIMONY:
I remember when I was brought from death, sin and darkness into the glorious Truth, Life and Transformation by Jesus Christ in 1972.
My whole life was totally changed and I was delivered of so many demons, burdens, sins and darkness that I felt like a huge bolder had been lifted off of my back.
It was so very awesome that I was literally floating above the earth and cares of this life for eight years. I still have that same awe of almighty God, but due to much persecution; I have landed on the earth, and God is always teaching me new and great things every single day.
Many powerful revelations, knowledge and truths can only be learned through much suffering and tribulation from the world, but be encouraged because our Lord Jesus Christ has overcome the world.
WHAT IS AWE?
There are not many really awesome people or activities in the world, but I hear the word “awesome’ overly used about almost any and everything.
However, what does awe really mean?
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition copyright ©2000 by Houghton Mifflin Company, says that it means:
AWE  [ɔː]n
1. overwhelming wonder, admiration, respect, or dread
2. Archaic power to inspire fear or reverence
Awe is not only wonder, admiration and respect, but it also includes dread or the power to inspire fear and reverence.

Do we fear God as He should be feared?  I think “not” in many cases; we think of Him as our own personal butler or Santa Claus.
However, this type of thinking is erroneous, and it will keep us from knowing Who our awesome God is in reality.  The Truth about our awesome God is far greater than we can understand now, because we see through a glass darkly today, but later we will know the truth and be down on our faces worshiping our awesome God because we will see what He has done in our behalf.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF FEARING ALMIGHTY GOD?
He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, but he who is perverse in his ways despises Him. (Proverbs 14:2)
By the fear of the Lord one departs from evil. (Proverbs 16:6)
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death. (Proverbs 14:27)
In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge. (Proverbs 14:26; see also Psalm 112:7-8)
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. (Psalm 34:7)
The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; he will not be visited with evil. (Proverbs 19:23)
Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. (Psalm 25:12)
The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. (Psalm 25:12-14)
These benefits are countless in The Word of God, and are listed throughout the Bible. In short, it is imperative to have the fear of God, as well as to have an awe of Him.
WHAT IS THE AWE OF GOD?
Psa 33:8 Let the whole earth fear the Lord! Let all who live in the world stand in awe of Him.
Act 2:43 Reverential awe came over everyone, and many wonders and miraculous signs came about by the apostles.
Heb 12:28 So since we are receiving an unshakable Kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.
Psa 65:8 Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by Your acts; you cause those living in the east and west to praise You.
Luk 5:26 Then astonishment seized them all, and they glorified God. They were filled with awe, saying, “We have seen incredible things today.”
1Ch 16:28 Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the nations, ascribe to the Lord splendor and strength!
Job 25:2 “Dominion and awesome might belong to God; He establishes peace in His heights.
Psa 5:7 But as for me, because of Your great faithfulness I will enter Your house; I will bow down toward Your holy temple as I worship you.
We can plainly learn from the countless Scriptures on the fear and awe of God; they are greatly important to our relationship and walk with God.
The Word of God is replete with the awesome power, character, holiness, and authority of our Lord and our God.
I pray every day that I and others will have the fear and awe of God that is needed to live a successful Christian life in devotion unto the Lord.
I can’t help but notice that so many young people and even Christians are into a human type of idolatry. They put certain celebrities, pastors, or famous people up on a pedestal. The only One Who can be put on a pedestal and not fall off of it is our lovely Lord and our God.
He alone is worthy to be idolized, trusted and worshiped. He alone is eligible for that type of awe, because He is our awesome God and our Lord Jesus
God  proved His love, sacrifice and devotion to mankind by giving everything that He had for us. He gave it all, so that we could be saved, delivered, healed and spend eternity with Him. How awesome is that?
RESPECT, INSPIRATION, WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE COME FROM KNOWING WHO GOD IS THROUGH HIS WORD DAILY.
Psa 29:2 Acknowledge the majesty of the Lord’s reputation! Worship the Lord in holy attire!
Psa 47:2 For the sovereign Lord is awe-inspiring; He is the great king who rules the whole earth!
Psa 52:6 When the godly see this, they will be filled with awe, and will mock the evildoer, saying:
Psa 89:7 a God who is honored in the great angelic assembly, and more awesome than all who surround Him?

In our day of constant entertainment; the real Truth of The Bible is being neglected, ignored, watered down, distorted and perverted.
Start reading your Bible everyday, and meet our awesome God for yourself. He is found in His Word, and He causes His Word to come alive because He is the only true and living God.
He is always waiting for us to come to Him and to open doors of our hearts to Him, and then He will come into our hearts and share His love, thoughts and life with us. It is truly awesome  to know the God of the universe who has all power, all authority, and Who created all things.
When you know God; you will have the fear of God, and you will be in awe of Him.  Then, you will have the beginning of wisdom in this life.
I pray that all of us will have the awe and fear of God as never before in these last days.

God is Able

God is Able
Peggy Kannaday
We know that from The Garden of Eden; Satan has had an evil plan for every one of God’s people. Of course, he has a horrible plan for the world and all the people of the world, but Satan targets the true Christians first and foremost. He attempts to destroy everything that The Lord has given them.
One thing that I have noticed about the plans of Satan are that they are always presumptive. They never seem to take into account the Living God and His almighty power.
The enemy did not consider the cost, when he had the ‘religious” leaders of Jesus’ time on earth to have Him murdered. The Bible says that if Satan had known the real Truth about Jesus Christ; they would never have had him killed. Satan didn’t know that Jesus Christ was and is The Lord of glory for all eternity.
The enemy was actually fulfilling the predestined plan of the Living God. Jesus Christ was sent to the earth to be offered the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind, and He totally succeeded in all that was needed for the total victory for all those who turn to God, trust in Him, love Him, obey Him and are called according to His glorious purposes.
For those that are born-again; the enemy hates with a passion; even as he hated The Lord Himself. If you follow Jesus Christ with all of your heart; you will be hated by those that have the anti-Christ spirit, even as Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and all the other true servants of the living God were despised and persecuted.
Let’s look at some biblical history in The Book of Daniel. The Lord was with the children of Israel even when they were surrounded by citizens of The Province of Babylon. God gave His people great favor and fruitfulness even in the land of their captivity.
This of course caused envy and a spirit of competition, just like we have today, and so wicked people started to plot against God’s people.
The three righteous young men, named Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego totally refused to bow down to the image of Nebuchadnezzar the King.
These three young men said to The King in Daniel 3:17-18, “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O King.
But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

As you recall, the King was furious, and he heated the furnace seven times hotter.
The children of God were bound, and thrown into the furnace. The men were slain that threw the three young men into the furnace, but not a hair of the head of God’s children was burned. Why? Because they had the Son of God with them in the furnace. Jesus Christ promises that He will never leave us, His people, or forsake us, even in the fiery furnace
God not only delivered these men, but He brought justice and judgment on those who had said anything against these men of God.
The King ordered that anyone that spoke against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego would be cut into pieces. God brought total justice for His faithful sons.
These men of God were promoted in the province of Babylon, and The King said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.”
Later, the very envious and wicked people of Babylon devised a scheme to destroy Daniel because they were so jealous, and they had the anti-Christ spirit. They hated Daniel for no reason other than the fact that he loved the living God and worshiped Him daily.
They got their King Darius, to create a law that they knew Daniel could not submit to, and so as you know King Darius had to uphold the law, and with great reluctance; he had Daniel thrown into the lion’s den.
The King told Daniel that his God would deliver him, and The King said (Daniel 6:20), “O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou serves continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?”
That question is reverberating all over the world today as the Christians look to our living God in these times of crisis.
The resounding answer is Yes, Yes and a thousand times “Yes”, our God is more than able to deliver us out of any plot, plan and scheme of the enemy.
When King Darius came the next morning to check on Daniel; Daniel was perfectly fine, and the lion’s mouths had been shut by The living God in behalf of Daniel.
The King then commanded that all of the men that had accused Daniel, including their wives and children be thrown into the lion’s den. “And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, and their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den” (Daniel 6:24). God not only can deliver perfectly, but He also brings the needed vengeance and restitution for His people. Those that put their total trust in God, love Him and obey Him will have every attempt of evil done to them reversed by almighty God. These mighty men of valor named Daniel, Sharach, Meshach and Abednego were not only delivered, but they were justified and those who attacked them were destroyed, and the mighty men of God were promoted and taken care of during their lifetimes. This will also be true of everyone that puts their lives and total trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius and in the reign of Cyrus The Persian.
We know how The Lord delivered Job, Joseph and countless other men of God out of the hand of Satan, and how the living God worked it all together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Many of God’s true believers will also face the hand of Satan, but they must never have any fear or doubt as The Lord our God will deliver them in one way or another.
We Christians are so blessed, and for us to live is Christ and to die is “gain”. We will not suffer the sting of death. We have everything to look forward to in our future. We should never have any fear of death or evil. The only fear that we should have is the fear of God which brings many blessings and benefits.
“And they overcame him (Satan) by The Blood of The Lamb, and by The Word of their Testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:11).
Those who have already given their lives over to the living God, The Father and Jesus Christ will not fear death. They have already surrendered all to Jesus Christ. They have nothing to lose, but everything to gain; no mater what happens in this life; God will take care of you as a loving Father.
Our real future is not in this life, but in the life to come. “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Cor. 13:12).
Now, we need to store up our treasures in heaven; not on this earth. What we store up in heaven will always be beneficial for us; not only in this life but also in the life to come.
(1 Timothy 4:8-10) (KJV) 8 “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10 For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe”.

Our God is able to deliver us, heal us, and bless us beyond anything that we can ask, think or imagine. He is all-powerful, all-knowing and omnipresent.
With Him nothing is impossible, but all things are possible with Him; He alone has won the total victory in our lives over all of our afflictions, sin and death. He delivers us out of them all, and He always causes His people to triumph.
Always remember that our God is not only able, but He is an awesome God, and Creator of the universe. He is the coming King of kings and Lord of lords.
I pray that you will have His heart and His mind, and you will go from victory-to-victory and from glory-to-glory in Jesus’ Name and all for His honor and praise!. Amen, amen and amen.

Becoming Unstoppable

Becoming Unstoppable
Peggy Kannaday
There is a movie that is very sensational, and it is called, “Unstoppable”, and it is about a runaway and unmanned freight train. The one half mile long train contains combustible substances and toxic gases that could wipe out a city.
This movie is based on a true event where a freight train traveled 70 miles and two hours, until rail workers could get on board, attach a cable to another train and put on the brakes.
The unstoppable train became stoppable in the end. There is only one power in heaven and earth that cannot be stopped, and that is the power of almighty God. Our God is all powerful, all knowing and omnipresent. Almighty God is truly unstoppable.
The Christian walk is truly unstoppable for those who are walking closely with Jesus Christ. We are constantly under the attack of the enemy of our souls to slow down, to lose our witnesses, and to even be halted completely.
As a Christian; I have come up against the powers of darkness that attempted to stop the destiny of God in my life. The enemy also wants to hinder, block and water down the power of God in your life as well.
However, with The Lord Jesus Christ; we, His people are “unstoppable”! We have the authority given to us to become more than conquerors through Christ. God the Father sent His only begotten Son to us, and Jesus Christ obeyed His Father even to death on the cross. The love of our Father God and Jesus Christ gained for all Christians the overcoming, unstoppable power of God.
We gain this authority through faith in the One Who attained this power. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1).
Every step that God has ordained in our lives; the enemy tries to come and hinder it to make it unfruitful. However, when we trust in The Lord; He will cause us to bear fruit 30, 60 and 100 fold.
“We must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22b).
I was teaching exceptional education students for many years, and after my daughter got married; I was released to go out on the mission field for 13 years. I had felt that I was called overseas ever since I was a child, and I waited on The Lord, and then He gave me the perfect timing after my daughter got married. God’s timing is crucial.
Every night in Seoul, Korea; I was on my knees before God, and I was praying and fasting for all of those years, and The Lord brought the victories each time that my work came under attack.
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong” (1 Cor. 16:13).
How do we stand fast and strong? We cannot do it in our own flesh or our own understanding; we must totally pray for the gift and fruit of faith to come forth, and that our faith will never fail.
I knew for those 13 years that I was right where the Lord had sent me. He gave me the Scripture about Joseph bearing fruit in the land of his suffering.
“Joseph named his firstborn Manasseh and said, It is because God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household. The second son he named Ephraim and said, it is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”
Genesis 41:51-52
Then I prayed, and The Lord led me to pray about a date when I would return to my homeland of America. I prayed for 7 years, and The Lord gave me a date.
The date was perfect because I was able to help my parents before they passed away.
God’s will, timing and ways are marvelous.
I then felt led to move to Fort Mill, SC, Regent Park, thinking that I would have a time of rest and relaxation, but instead huge attacks from the enemy came upon me as soon as I moved there.
I was very shocked as this region of our country used to be Christian, and so I was blindsided at first. However, when I prayed and sought the Lord; I was shown that it was witchcraft and sorcery, and the Lord directed me to take the territory through prayer which is the assignment for all true Christians to take the place where they have been sent for the Kingdom of God.
Don’t be shocked when The Lord sends you to the darkest places, as His light shines the brightest in the darkest places.
The Lord Jesus gave the below parable to His people. When Jesus is away, His people are to occupy the territory where they are planted.
“And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.”
–Luke 19:11-13
To occupy is a military term like many in The Bible, and means to literally take over the territory for the glory of God. When the Spiritual atmosphere is right with God, and righteousness is prevalent, then the area will be exalted by The Lord.
How do we occupy a territory? It is through worship, spiritual, anointed prayer, and spiritual warfare (pulling down the strongholds of the enemy so that The Lord and The Holy Spirit will be able to have full reign).
When I first moved to Regent Park; I was inundated with all types of harassment by those in authority on the property. However, worship, praise, prayer and spiritual warfare have done the Lord’s mighty work, and the light at the end of the tunnel is shining brightly.
Faith is in seeing the light at the end of the tunnel way before you get to the end of the tunnel. It is in knowing that with God; nothing is impossible, and with Him all things are possible.
It is knowing with all of your heart that with the Lord on your side; “You are unstoppable”. If God is for you; who can be against you?
People of God; wherever you are located; take back your territory for the Kingdom of God. All Christians need to repent, turn back to God, and then He has promised to heal our lands and to bring restitution to all of us for everything that the enemy has tried to kill, steal and destroy (Acts 3:19-21).
Repentance is the key for all Christians, as to much is given; much is required, and we have kicked God out our lives in many instances, and we need to humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways.
We all need to renew our first love for The Lord and to pray for an even greater love and devotion to Him. He has so much to offer those who love Him, and obey His will and His commandments.
There are many heresies floating around that are deceiving many. The wolves in sheep’s clothing are preaching that it is okay to sin, and that anything goes with God.
Philippians 2:12b-13 “…work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure”
This is a doctrine of demons, and of course; it is totally unbiblical, but many young people and vulnerable people are not able to resist these seducing spirits because they were never taught the pure and holy Word of God.
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matt 24:13).
Please pray for your area, your country, and all people that we rise up, come together and make our churches The Houses of Prayer for all people. When we do this, then we will be unstoppable for The Lord Jesus Christ and for all of His glorious purposes.
